If they're no longer available via any of those options (quite possible if they were deleted a long time ago and your deleted item retention isn't that long) then your only option is likely to be to check with your Exchange admin, and see if they haveĪny backups going back that far. Go to File, Options, Advanced, click AutoArchive Settings, and see if it's enabled. To recovered from your mailbox then they will be listed here (note, recover deleted items is per folder, so you have to be in the right folder to find messages available to recover).Ĭheck whether your Outlook is configured for Auto Archiving (in case those archives may have been backed up somewhere). Were deleted from (eg if they were permanently deleted from the Inbox then go there, if they were first deleted into the deleted items folder then go there) then select the Folder tab in Outlook and click Restore Deleted Items. Were they just deleted (in which case they may still be in your delete items) or were they permanently deleted / removed from your delete items folder?
